This website is operated by Steffen Meyer. Your privacy matters. This site uses privacy-friendly, first-party analytics to understand how it is used — no advertising, tracking pixels, retargeting or cross-site profiling. No data is sold or shared with advertisers.
Hosting
This website is hosted on servers located in Switzerland. While Switzerland is not a member of the European Union, it is recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection. Swiss data protection law (DSG/nDSG) offers strong privacy safeguards comparable to the GDPR.
Access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser user-agent) are collected automatically by the web server for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days and are not used for any other purpose.

Google Fonts
This site loads typefaces (Barlow Condensed, IBM Plex Sans, IBM Plex Mono) from Google Fonts. When you visit a page, your browser connects to Google servers to download the font files. Google may process your IP address and basic connection data in connection with this request.

Font Awesome
This site uses Font Awesome icons loaded from Font Awesome CDN (kit.fontawesome.com). When a page loads, your browser connects to Font Awesome servers. Font Awesome may collect anonymized usage statistics and your IP address in connection with delivering the icon kit.

Cookies
This site sets only two cookies: a session cookie, which keeps the website working and groups page views of a visit for the anonymous statistics described below, and a security cookie that protects forms (CSRF protection). Both expire when you close your browser. No advertising or tracking cookies are set.
Analytics
To understand which content is useful, this site measures visits in two ways:
Server logs of the website itself. For each page view the server records the page address, the referring page, your browser's user agent, your IP address and a random session identifier. These raw records are kept for a maximum of about 30 days and are then reduced to anonymous daily and monthly totals (e.g. number of views per page) that contain no IP address or other personal data. Visits identified as bots are deleted nightly. Whitepaper downloads are counted in the same way.
Umami. This site uses Umami (umami.is), a cookie-free analytics service, to count page views and whitepaper downloads. Umami does not set cookies and does not store IP addresses or build user profiles.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving this website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data is not used for advertising and not shared with third parties.
Contact & Email
If you contact us via email, we store your message and email address solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. This data is not shared with third parties and will be deleted once the inquiry has been resolved, unless retention is required by law.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR and applicable Swiss data protection law (DSG), you have the right to:
- Request information about your stored personal data
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Restrict or object to the processing of your data
- Request data portability
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
